IE please just go away! besides all the compliance issues the CSS workarounds are many. why could all you computer science nerds at microsoft and IE not get the png thing worked out? what a bunch of bozos!!! when will they get box-shadow implemented.? every browser supports this except IE. not such a big deal but when designers have to have their freakin shadows and IE is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin important you have to do a hack and extra spaghetti. IE go away!!! you are like a needy girlfriend you said goodbye to 2 months ago.

I always use Firefox, but needed to check some design work for my site in IE. Within the same form using the same input boxes and classes, IE managed to make them two different sizes. I agree entirely with your site, but just wish there was only one standard browser. Perhaps made by a freeware writer, such as myself for instance ( Just kidding,,, but please kill IE

So many negative comments about IE – And everyone of them is 100% true. I too am a Web designer and I have decided to stop designing for IE. When a user tries to access my site now, they are directed to a message and a page which explains exactly why they can’t view the site and provides links to alternate bowsers (all of which do a marvelous job of rendering my site properly). Also the misguided IE visitor is directed to contact Microsoft directly and inquire as to why they are seeing a site which displays such a message – I figure, let them explain to users why they feel that sites should display as they dictate while ignoring the designers original layout and element placement. I use to design for every single version of IE but no more – If those who visit (using IE) get it, fine. If they get it, then they are the type of client I want to work with and those that cling to the ridiculous backward thinking that plauges IE (all versions), refuse to use a real Web browser, so be it. I don’t want bull headed clients who are unable to understand why the design they paid for looks like total crap in IE.

IE is horrific. I developed a couple of sites and don’t even allow IE 7 to view. IE 8 and 9 are bearable but still crap shoots compared to FF and Chrome. What is Quirks? Why have a document mode called Quirks and default set to that so every design is trashed… TERRIBLE IE, get a clue and stop making our jobs so difficult PLEASE!

I use to actually hated IE, but IE9 is actually really nice. I still prefer chrome over IE9, but it’s a huge improvement. I look forward to seeing the IE team improve IE.

IE sucks!, it IE was a person I will kick them on the face!. I’m a web developer and no matter what i create it always have issues only with IE. Sometimes I have to create 2 or 3 versions one for each stupid version of IE. IE team you SUCK!!!
