As a web designer and developer IE is the worst nightmare ever.
Everytime I design something it goes like this:
Tests in firefox > Looks good; Tests in chrome > Looks good; Tests in Opera > Looks good; Tests in IE > AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
That’s me screaming, of course.

IE : ummm the last Microshit product i used was late in 99 or sumthin like dat which
untill or unless microshit underdere trademark start using Unix logics !
was Windose 98 , its was like its manufacturer name dat time and till now da same ! until or unless dey understand that closed source products cannot take over anything like Netscape’s Mozilla because dey are open source and impossible for dem to compete with GNU/Linux 1. its free ! Nuff Said

Hi am Jinny from new york and work for a textile factory. Got IE6 on my system at work. Tried to change to firefox but the IT staff here forces us to continue using IE6. Kind of frustrating browser. Freezing everytime and also givin me head aches.

I use IE everyday. its the only browser that works perfect on my system. Firefox and chrome are slower. I don’t find any reason why it needs to die!

since the day i got familiarized with IT & internet, i’ve always used IE but recently i changed for another web browser n i found it more enjoyable. n for me IE is now past history. nevertheless i do agree that i’ve had nice experiences with IE but its sad that it has not been upgraded to match emerging needs.

For a developer, we unfortunately need IE whatever bad it is and it’s b’coz of those using IE. And what really irritated; some clients will come and says : “Whats that, its not working on IE”… And what u’ll reply… “which IE”…
So what i meant is instead being upgraded, IE is degrading. IE8 is the worst..
Whatever IE it is, all sucks.

well Internet browsing through IE used to be nice till i was not aware of better browsers. From the time i use firefox, google chrome, flock, opera and safari i really find that IE got left behind! IE was never up to date with new web technologies.
I would say:
IE 5 = Shit
IE 6 = Sucks
IE 7 = No big difference as they claimed! It still sucks!
IE 8 = The first time i ran it on a vista it crashed! The second time it crashed again! The third time it crashed once more! No way to go for a fourth try! There was no place for it on my laptop!

IE is meant for people who like wasting time. Use other powerful browsers like opera, firefox, XXX. You will be more productive in your work and whatever you do online.

IE user – I have been an IE user for more than 4 years then recently switched to mozilla firefox. I would say IE is ok but if compared to firefox then firefox gives a better experience.
